With blueberries at only .99 at Safeway this week, I decided it would be a great week to stock up and freeze my stash for the winter.   I purchased 5 pints to freeze today and will go get more on Sunday.  My Dad was the blueberry freezer person in our family and froze them using the good old cookie sheet method.  I just happened to come across this article on how to freeze blueberries - what great timing!

I plan to use wax paper instead of paper towels but I think it will work well. Through the fall and winter I just take a few out of the freezer and dump them in my cereal bowl.  Nuke (microwave) them for a few seconds and they are as good a fresh!
